Bring some "BLING" to a dated home through Virtual Staging

Bring Some “BLING” to a Dated Home Through Virtual Staging, by Patricia Poohachoff

Are you looking at purchasing a “fixer upper”, but can’t see past a shag carpet, old kitchen, or that pink wall?  Are you trying to sell a dated property?  Do you have the time or resources to renovate your home to make it more desirable for potential buyers?  What do your photos in real estate marketing materials and websites say about your property for sale?  Buyers are viewing numerous homes and deciding which ones to visit and you want yours to stand out from the rest.

Virtual staging can transform a home for only a fraction of the cost of professional staging services.  With a few pictures and measurements of a home, a room can be re-created with new furnishings and finishings using computer generated drawings.  Before and after conceptual drawings can be used in marketing materials and during your open house to show your home’s potential.  What an innovative way to capture the imagination of your potential buyers!

This is also a great option for people looking to re-decorate, but cannot visualize how the space can work or how it might look with a new floor, colour and furnishings.  The number one comment that I get from client’s during our first consultation is “I can’t see it” or “I don’t get how that would work”.  Most people are visual learners.  A picture is worth a thousand words!  Once I present full coloured, conceptual drawings of their space I can see the relief on a client’s face.  Now they have a vision and can put a plan into action.

Regardless if you are a real estate agent, a buyer, a seller or ready to update your home to truly reflect your personal style, virtual staging may be a perfect option for you.
